In recognition of the Total Recall movie directed by Paul Verhoeven, its sequel comic book mini-series from Dynamite Entertainment, and the remake film, I have re-watched the original 1990 film and read the novelization, comic books, and original Philip K. Dick short story "We Can Remember it for You Wholesale". Here, I an presenting my studies relating to each, such as commentary on the science described, sound bits of memorable dialog, screen grabs and my own musings.

At this point, I have no plans to produce studies of the 1999 Canadian Total Recall 2070 TV series. Besides the name and being set mostly on Mars, the series basically had nothing to do with the 1990 movie, with the story elements bearing more resemblance to Blade Runner (itself based on another Philip K. Dick story "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?").

I am continuing to use the term "episode" here as I have elsewhere on PopApostle, as a separable piece in the continuous narrative of a larger story.
